Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer (BD&P) wants to help the Calgary Food Bank secure the resources it needs year-round to support the thousands of Calgarians who rely on this service.

This year, BD&P made a leadership pledge of $200,000 to kick off the 2011 Put the Boots to Hunger campaign - a serious dent in the $600,000 goal we were striving for.

In 2009, Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer teamed up with the Calgary Food Bank and the Put the Boots to Hunger campaign.

In 2010, more than 60 community partners and chuckwagon sponsors joined BD&P to raise more than $510,000 in food and funds for the Food Bank during Stampede. BD&P thanks their clients and friends for their support.

Put the Boots to Hunger is an important campaign. Last year, more than 140,000 Calgarians received food from the Calgary Food Bank's Emergency Food Hamper program; 40% were children. It is our goal to provide the Calgary Food Bank with the resources it requires to meet the emergency food needs of low-income Calgarians.
